Let’s get you started out on the right foot!
There’s a lot that goes into backcountry skiing and snowboarding and it’s not something that should be taken lightly. From tour planning, getting the right equipment, understanding avalanche danger, there’s a lot to think about.
During this one-day course, we’ll get you dialed in on what all the backcountry consists of. We’ll discuss layering, gear, packing, navigation, emergency planning, as well as teachable moments along the way. By the end of the day, you will have been introduced to the necessary skills a good backcountry traveler should have.
