Dates
January 24th-30th
This is an all-inclusive trip! Once you’ve arrived at the airport in Panama City (PTY) everything is taken care of for you (i.e. food, drinks, transportation, fishing, & lodging).
We will be staying at a nice resort in the Gamboa area of Panama. The resort has every amenity including a pool and bar. They also offer a number of other activities for the evening. Transportation to and from the airport will be arranged for you.
Breakfast and lunches are provided by the guides every day along with water, beer, and snacks. We will all eat dinner together at the lodge around 7 PM.
NEW THIS YEAR: DRIFT BOAT TARPON FISHING!
There is an option to add an additional day of fishing for tarpon from a drift boat! A truly unique and one-of-a-kind experience.
This location is set near the Darian Gap between Panama and Columbia. We will be fishing a tidal river on the pacific side of Panama. Pacific Tarpon?! You betcha! The Panama Canal has introduced tarpon to the pacific side of the world.
Imagine floating down a tropical river, in a drift boat, casting streamers to the bank when a 100-pound tarpon comes from behind a log, just like a brown trout! Boom, you’re off to the races. An adrenaline rush like no others.
This river also has a large population of Machaca and Snook, with the occasional Mangrove Snapper.
This trip has a lot of moving parts and being the only drift boat in the country it is limited to one day only and only two people. The wakeup call is 3:30AM and takes about an hour and half of travel time. This is an area of Panama that has no accommodations yet; hence, why it’s so limited. Transportation and meals provided.
To book this extra day trip on top of the regular scheduled program it’s an additional $600 per person. That includes your extra night stay at the lodge.
Gratuity is not included, and a minimum tip of $100 / boat is required.
Rooms and boat prices are based on double occupancy.
