Flowing from the Elk Mountains near Aspen, the Roaring Fork River provides many miles of great, trouty water. This small, rocky river flows swiftly through the small mountain towns of Woody Creek, Basalt, Carbondale until it reaches the Colorado River.

Walk wading trips can be done at Jaffee Park, just outside of the iconic mountain town of Aspen. There are several other spots along Highway 82 that has access but much of the property surrounding the Roaring Fork is private, meaning that there is not much opportunity to walk / wade.

Floating the Roaring Fork is the most efficient way to fish. However, the swift nature of this water possess challenges for anglers and requires that they have perfect drifts and hit the right spots. The majority of our float trips begin near the town of Carbondale and finish at Two Rivers Park in Glenwood Springs.

For 1/2 or 3/4 days, we may start our float at the West Bank bridge and fish that 8 mile stretch down to Two Rivers Park.
