On our extended day floats, we’ll start early (just before sunrise, if possible). We’ll take advantage of the early morning bite and float ~7 miles down to our beautiful river-side lodge. Here, we’ll enjoy our lunch either from the lodge dining room or one of the gazebos found around the property. An afternoon nap may even be in order as we wait for the sun to sink down behind the riverside cliffs. Once we get some shadows on the water, we’ll float down the next section of river, taking advantage of the evening hatch.
This is a unique float trip and we’re one of the few who offer it. We’re not afraid to go the extra mile and fish in the prime time of day. This is like getting two floats in the same day, as each of these sections (AM & PM) are where we do our full day floats. Total river mileage will about 13 miles.
